Summer Beauty Tips

Heyy!

So, I think I do one of these every. summer.

But these are extremely important.

So here are seven tips to stay healthy this summer!


  1. Wear Sunscreen- I know you've probably heard this a MILLION times, but it really helps. It prevents things such as skin cancer, wrinkles, and skin imperfections. A little bit of direct sunlight is good (15 minutes or less) because you are soaking up vitamin D, which is a vitamin your body needs and gets from direct sunlight, but too much sun creates problems you don't want to deal with...Trust me.
  2. Avoid Using a Blow Dryer- Or any other heated hair products. During the summer, you get enough heat from the outside heat. Don't dry out your hair, and occasionally use a special conditioner and/or shampoo to keep it healthy. Try different hairstyles, like the beach waves, or up-dos. 
  3.  Drink Lot's of Water- If not, you risk becoming dehydrated. Carrying around a water bottle is an easy fix!You also don't have to worry about those bothersome plastic bottles. Water also cleanses out any bad substances in your system.
  4. Accessorize- My favorite part of summer! Sunglasses, straw hats, cute necklaces/bracelets/rings, and flip-flops are all a must have! Sunglasses to shade your eyes and keep them working good, straw hats to shade you head/face, jewelry....well, just 'cause, and flip-flops for when you need to run and need some quick shoes. And who wants to wear tennis shoes to the beach??
  5. Moisturize- If your swimming a lot, or even in the sun a lot, you're slowly drying out your skin. Use a good moisturizer, and you'll keep your skin glowing!(:
  6. Protect Your Lips- Use a lip balm, or chap-stick, with sunscreen in it. It is possible to sunburn your lips. Guys. It. Is. PAINFUL. You do not want to deal with it, trust me on this one.
  7. Keep Your Hair Off Your Face- If you have bangs, keep them pulled up. If you leave your hair down, and you sweat a lot, you are putting natural hair oils on your pores, and those two things don't mix. Especially if your prone to break-outs.


I hope you take these seven tips to heart and keep your body healthy this summer! I posted these last year,too, but they are sooo so so so important. I just can't stress it enough.
