So yeah. Layers and side-swept bangs. Nothing two big.
Anyway, I thought I would talk a bit about my "courage". I'm taking this a little bit at a time, but I'm really proud of myself today. Yesterday, my mom, sisters, brother, and I went shopping for our vacation. Usually, in public, I won't look up and most of the time you'll see my, just not my face. I'll keep my head down and go on my way. Yesterday, I held my head high. Y'all's comments and a few things my best guy friend has said to me lately upped my self-esteem. When I walked through the parking lot, I put a smile on my face and I acted like I belonged there.
Another thing that helped was the fact that this wasn't somewhere I was likely to run into someone I knew. I wasn't going to have to avoid them (What I usually do, don't really know why) if I knew them. No one was going to make fun of me.Not knowing anyone made me want to act like I belonged there. I didn't want to walk with my head down. I wanted people to know I was happy, and no, I don't really care what you think. I wanted to make an impression. And I'm so proud of myself for that.
I just thought I would share this little highlight of my day.

ReplyDeleteThat "saddling up" picture made me laugh. I'm a country girl as well! I can totally relate :)
Hold your head up high ALWAYS, girlie, you are a Child of God, and He loves you more than you could ever imagine. That single reason right there is all you need to know to be proud in yourself :)
your hair cut is adorable!
